How to Watch the Men’s China Open Final Live Stream
Did Alex de Minaur really reach the final because Hurkacz retired?
A: Yes. Sportsnet reports De Minaur advanced when Hurkacz retired midway through the second set of their semifinal on Oct 5 2026. The score was 6-4, 3-2 for De Minaur. Hurkacz was barely able to run for balls in the second set and the nature of the injury was not immediately clear.
