Season six opens with Slough House operating in a thinner light. Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb remains the gravitational centre for fans, yet the narrative orbit has shifted. Diana Taverner now heads MI5 and the premiere frames two murders and a funeral as political pressure points. The core question is no longer what Lamb will do next, but whether the series can keep its antihero identity while the power moves upstairs.
