Conflicting age reports are everywhere. One site says 79, another says 80, a recent interview says 82. The pain point is simple: people want a verified birthdate, not a guess. This page fixes that.
Michael Douglas was born September 25, 1944. That is the anchor. Everything else follows from it.
Quick Answer: Michael Douglas Age in 2025 and 2026
Official birthdate September 25 1944 and current age calculation
Full name Michael Kirk Douglas. Born September 25, 1944 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA.
Math is straightforward. 2025 minus 1944 equals 81. He is 80 for most of 2025 and turns 81 on September 25, 2025.
In 2026 he is 81 until his birthday, then 82.
Why some sources list 79, 80 or 82 and how to verify
79 shows up because some outlets calculate age at the start of the year before the birthday, or they simply lag one year behind. 80 is the common shorthand for 2025. 82 is correct for October 2026 and later.
Verify with primary records. Birthdate is consistent across biographical databases, official filmographies, and studio bios. Do not trust a headline age without a birthdate.
