MarShawn Lloyd scored his first NFL touchdown in Week 1 of the 2024 season and the internet immediately called the wrong Marshawn. The Packers rookie took a six-yard pass from Jordan Love, crossed the goal line, and sparked a full-scale name confusion that trended faster than the play itself. It was a perfect storm of identical first names, real-time commentary, and a fanbase that still lives for Beast Mode.
The moment was clean. The reaction was chaos.
