Reacher fans have been asking for more time with Frances Neagley since season 2. Prime Video finally delivers. Neagley is not a cameo. It is a full spinoff built around Maria Sten’s ex-military fixer. The show keeps the Reacher DNA intact: lean cases, moral clarity, and a lead who does not waste words.
If you want to watch for free, you need Prime Video access and a clear read on timing and region locks. This guide cuts the noise.
What Is Neagley and Its Connection to Reacher
Series premise and storyline overview
Neagley follows Frances Neagley after her last mission with Jack Reacher. She runs private security consulting out of Chicago. The premiere drops her into a kidnapping case tied to a corrupt defense contractor. The tone is procedural, but the personal stakes are higher. This is Reacher without Reacher, which is the whole point.
How Neagley expands the Reacher universe
The spinoff expands the universe by showing the network Reacher relied on. Neagley is the connector. You see how intel moves, how favors are called in, and why Reacher trusted her. It respects canon. No retcons.
It also proves Amazon can build off the Reacher brand without recasting the lead. That matters for long-term franchise health.

Neagley Cast and Characters
Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley
Maria Sten is the anchor. She carries the Reacher weight without imitating Alan Ritchson. Her Neagley is colder, more procedural, and more lethal when pushed.
Supporting cast and new characters
The spinoff adds a new partner, a tech analyst played by a rising cast member, and a recurring antagonist linked to the defense world. Names are still under wraps for episode 3 onward to avoid spoilers.
Cameos and connections to original Reacher cast
No Jack Reacher cameo in episode 1. The show leans on references, not appearances. Expect Easter eggs and a phone call that fans will recognize.

Region Restrictions and How to Access Neagley Internationally
Countries where Neagley is available on Prime Video
Prime Video rolls out Reacher content wide, but not everywhere on day one. US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and India are confirmed for launch day.

| UK / EU major markets | Yes | Day one |
