Tom Sturridge is trending for the wrong reason. Search volume for Tom Sturridge jumped sharply after the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Elsinore. The spike has nothing to do with a new project from Tom Sturridge. It is a classic mistaken identity wave.
Social clips from Andrew Scott’s press conference got mislabeled. Thumbnails swapped faces. Autocomplete started suggesting tom sturridge tiff and tom sturridge andrew scott same person. Fans looking for clarification are now flooding Tom Sturridge’s name. That is the pain point.
